Have you seen Google Moderate?
http://www.google.com/moderator/#0Like a Twitter stream but with votes that elevate the most popular posts to the top. I was in a meeting in Second Life the other day and the moderator used this to determine what questions should be answered. I thought when we get an audience of thousands, this might be useful for getting comments and questions.
